This box is in an excellent condition.Lovely inlaid wooden jewelry / trinket hexagonal box handmade in Granada, Spain. The term 'Taracea' refers to the bringing together of different wood. This Spanish art-form, whose process involves the inlaying of smaller pieces of colored wood into a frame (box, in this case) and coating the entire pieces with lacquer.
